This model comes pre-painted and pre-assembled. It is of a Limited Edition of 2004 and comes with a certificate of authenticity, there are also edition details printed under the base.

Exclusive Sci-fi Viper Mark II Die-Cast Model

This model measures approx 2.5” long by 2” wide, it appears to be made from solid steel and is therefore quite heavy; the model is very uniquely styled.

The model was given away at the San Diego Comic Con (SDCC) in 2005, from the Sc-fi Channel stand in return for a subscription to their magazine. People queued for hours to pick up one of these and I have been reliably informed that each design, Galactica, Viper, Raider is of a limited Edition of 500.

Seaquest DSV Model with Lighting System

I built and painted the Seaquest DSV Monogram Model Kit, details from Fantastic Plastic here.

However, I designed and built-in a fibre-optic lighting system. Here are pictures from the tv-series showing the boats external lighting:

I used high power LEDs and a circuit board consisting of a Timer IC and a Power Management IC, along with some discrete components; Batteries were housed in the front section of the model.
